Staying at the Arginenea Guest House during our family vacation was a nice experience, especially for our little one under two years. We were warmly welcomed, and despite our struggles with Basque and Spanish, the staff, particularly Aranchina, ensured we felt at home. Our spacious room, complete with a surprisingly large bed, was perfect for our family. The bathroom, while simple, featured a good shower — essential after our daily adventures! Breakfast was a lovely array of typical Spanish fare, including homemade cake and fresh orange juice, which the kids enjoyed. We ventured up the picturesque hill behind the guest house, a hike that left my legs feeling quite achy, but the views were definitely worth it. We found the local village nearby, where we discovered a good bar and restaurant. The ease of the bus service from the end of the street was a bonus; we took it to Tolosa for an evening outing, which made for a stress-free family day. The Arginenea Guest House's family-friendly atmosphere and access to local activities are perfect for anyone looking to enjoy an engaging holiday while ensuring there’s always something for the kids. It’s a lovely place for families exploring the area.
